Founded in 2018, CAZ Electric provides residential and commercial electrical services in Bellingham and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves in our customer service, high quality workmanship, and attention to detail. Part of the CAZ family of companies, CAZ Electric electricians regularly work with plumbers, carpenters, and insulators from CAZ Construction and Favinger Plumbing to complete repairs and remodels. Working as a team, we create happy customers by doing our work safely, correctly, and on time.
What to expect when you work with us: When you call or email, we will respond promptly, maintain good communication, and do what we say we will do. We will collect payment and jobsite information from you when you call to schedule the work. We will show up in the time window that we told you, or let you know if something changed. When the electrician is onsite, they will review the problem with you, write up a bid based on what you want done, answer your questions, and have you sign the bid if you choose to move forward with the work. We charge a call out fee depending on how far away the job is. Payment is due at the time of service. For larger jobs, such as remodels, we will invoice you as different phases of the job are complete.
In many cases, once the electrician is onsite and talks with the client about their problem, the client asks for more or less work, so the original scope of work grows or shrinks depending on what the client wants. Sometimes a big problem turns out to be a small fix, and sometimes a problem that seemed small is actually a large and complicated issue. We warranty our labor for a year, and parts that we provide for a year or longer, according to the manufacturer’s warranty.

The CAZ family of companies was founded in 2010, and includes CAZ Construction, Favinger Plumbing, and CAZ Environmental. We offer a full suite of services to build, maintain and renovate homes and businesses in Whatcom, Skagit and Island counties. CAZ Construction is a general contractor that focuses on repairing and remodeling homes, including kitchens, baths, windows and doors, siding, insulation, ductless heat pumps, and building small homes such as ADUs.
CAZ Environmental performs asbestos inspections in settings that range from mobile homes to multi-story industrial towers, and analyzes the asbestos samples in our onsite lab. Favinger Plumbing handles any size plumbing job – from repiping large commercial buildings to fixing a dripping faucet in a home.
